Excerpt:
"Here I am, in the middle of the Kakum Rain Forest in Ghana, Africa. My heart rate is pounding with the fear of being tossed off of a one foot wide bridge suspended one-hundred and fifty feet in the air. My next move could decide my fate. I stand as frozen as a wax museum figure clinging to the suspension ropes with a vise grip that would make a professional wrestler squirm. My eyes must be the size of silver dollars as I stare at the platform landing only twenty feet away. Is this how my quest is going to end? Have I come all this way, across the Atlantic Ocean from Cincinnati, Ohio, in search of my ancestral heritage only to be snuffed out by a bouncing bridge?"
From the Author:
"Akwaaba (Welcome) to our website! I hope that you will enjoy the dialogue, features and pictures from My Quest To Ghana. Your comments are welcomed. Ghana has to be one of the friendliest places on earth. The brotherly love shown to me by my distant cousins will never be forgotten and I count it a privilege to have met so many kind people in West Africa."
